The last chance in 24 years to see Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn lined

We have already seen earlier this year, and now we will see again: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn will be lined for a few days before each take its path in the sky.
Starting this week, and for a few more, the five planets can be seen with the naked eye during the sunset - in late January and early February, they could be spotted only at dawn.
This is only possible, according to David Dickinson, the Universe Today Astronomy site because before we had all the planets before us.
"Now, we see our 'mirror' because Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are in front, while Mercury and Venus are rushing to catch up," wrote Dickinson.
If you are in an open space without clouds from Wednesday you can see the five neighboring planets southwest Earth.

Brightness and color
To identify the planets, pay attention to the subtle differences that you will see in the sky. Venus is the brightest of all, and Jupiter is the next in brightness. Both are still visible when the sun is about to hide.
Mars, in turn, is reddish and Saturn, yellowish. Both shine with similar intensity.
Find Mercury is always the biggest challenge because it is the smallest planet and can hide easily.

The thumb trick
Astronomer Jason Kendall, associate professor at William Paterson University in New Jersey, in the United States, published on his YouTube channel a practical exercise to know if what you are seeing is a planet or a star.
"Close one eye. Straighten the arm and put his thumb up. Slowly pass it from one side to the other planet or star you see in the sky. If the light attenuating when the thumb passing over it is a planet. But if she quickly flashing is a star, "he said.
The trick works best with Jupiter and Venus, says astronomer because they are brighter.
Anyway, what needs to be clear if you decide to "go hunting" is that these planets are the brightest celestial bodies seen from Earth - after the Sun and the Moon, of course.
The five planets will no longer line up until September 8, 2040, when they will be 9.3 degrees on the sky.

Design portrays the homeless and their never realized dreams

Two students went out into the streets of Lisbon with a doubt in one hand and a camera in the other. The goal? Ask homeless people what their dreams were. The result of the project is a thought-provoking photographic series showing the life projects of these people.

The series, called "I Dream", shows 10 homeless people always photographed in black and white holding a blackboard where record their never realized dreams. The authorship of the project is student Catarina Fernandes and João Porfirio.

In addition to the photographic series, the project also consisted of lengthy conversations with homeless people, where young people were able to learn the story of a lady who wanted to be a teacher and was abandoned by her daughters; a 22 year old who just wanted to be happy; and foreigners who have been to Portugal in search of a better life, but never found.

Each story has left some dreams never realized in the way, which have now been portrayed through the lens of Catarina and João the form you see below:

My opinion about animals being killed without a reason

In this publication I will give my views on the killings without reason, of wild animals in captivity.
Several cases have happened in Brazil and around the world, many were covered up nor suspected what had happened, but several also have come to public.
Animals in captivity, as in zoos and government centers are being killed for stupid reasons, often for the fun of those who commit this heartless act.
And this occurs not only in captivity, but in the forests, oceans, and all the natural habitats of animals. Animals that have their home invaded by man, try to adapt, living in cities, or next of them, like birds and felines, but often, the species can suffer various consequences, and the complete extinction of the species the worst.

Animals in their natural habitats tries to defend them and their families, pollution and deforestation affect habitats affecting amimais. The extinction of a species can lead to the extinction of other species that generates the extinction of another, and so the cycle continues.

The science says that human beings are rational animals, because they are the currently dominant species on Earth, we think, speak, learn, but in my opinion, we always will be the most irrational kind of the earth as we destroy our home and the home of our fellow "irrational," we destroy our lives and the lives of our future children and grandchildren.
Animals "irrational" also think, speak, learn, but in a different way from ours, wild animals attack humans because they are protecting their environment, their home. We humans invaded their home and blame the aimais because of its mode protection, in many cases, killing humans, but now I wonder: Who is wrong? Animals protecting their habitats, kill a human, or human to destroy and invade their homes, either in oceans, forests, deserts or mountains?
I think you already know the answer.
We are wrong because we think that we are the masters of the world, we blame those who can not defend themselves with words, but with claws and teeth, broke into their spaces, captured their young, kill their mothers , use them as accessories, there are many real stories about true friendship between animals and humans, as Hachiko for example, but many acts that a "rational" animal as we humans would not be able to do, how to commit murder and suicide.
No animals would not be nothing, we need the bees and butterflies to spread the pollen in flowers and plants, need of birds and bats to scatter the seeds of fruits, we need the squirrels hide their nuts under the ground and thus plant trees and woods, always we need the animals for everything in our lives.
Below I will leave some cases of inhumanity to animals. Click in the links below to access the news:

Inhuman Act: the death of spotted jaguar Juma

Juma was killed with a pistol shot after fleeing and move on soldier; she had been chained and presented to the public during a ceremony.

The death of Juma, the jaguar who attended a ceremony with the Olympic torch in Manaus on Monday, reveals the drama of an endangered species and raises questions about the keeping of wild animals in centers of the Army in the Amazon.
The Juma jaguar was shot down with a pistol shot in the War Training Center in Selva (Cigs) shortly after being displayed in the Olympic event. As another jaguar, nicknamed Simba, she had been chained and presented to the public during the ceremony.
The Army maintains several ounces in captivity in the Amazon. Felines ─ and animals of other species ─ usually adopted by the body to be found in captivity or in the hands of hunters.
Many ounces as Juma, become mascots of battalions and undergo training sessions. In Manaus, the cats are frequent presence in military parades, a practice condemned by biologists and veterinarians.
In 2014, while recording a documentary in Manaus, Cigs military showed Juma, the mascot of the center, the BBC Brazil. At the time, they explained that the jaguar had been rescued with injuries after her mother was killed. It was taken to the center and there grew up under the care keepers.
The tragic fate of Juma draws attention to the situation becoming more precarious of the species listed as endangered in Brazil by Ibama in 2003.
It is an animal that requires extensive preserved areas to survive, hunting species such as capybaras and even alligators. She has been threatened by deforestation, not only in the Amazon as well as the Pantanal and the Cerrado, to make room for the expansion of farming.
pistol shot
In a note sent to the site of the local branch of Amazon Real news, the Amazon Military Command (CMA) says that after the Olympic ceremony on Monday, Juma escaped into the army center of the zoo. The agency says that a group of vets and military tried to recapture it with tranquilizers, but that even hit the animal advanced on a soldier.
"As a safety procedure, aiming to protect the physical integrity of the military and grooms team, was held a pistol shot the animal, who died," says the agency.
Ounce Simba also participated in the ceremony.

According to the US Amazon, two soldiers holding the chain attached to Juma throughout the event. The site says that many people took pictures with the jaguar at the ceremony. She would have run after the display, when the military tried to put it in a truck.
The army said it opened an administrative procedure to investigate the death of the cat. According to the US Amazon, the Institute of the State of Amazonas Environmental Protection (Ipaam) had not authorized the participation of Juma in the event and may fine the corporation.
untameable
For John Paul Castro, a biologist with a master's degree in animal behavior at the University of Brasilia, Juma may have fled after stressing during the event.
"It's not healthy or desirable to subject an animal to a situation like that, with noise and many people around," he tells the BBC Brazil.
"Often an ounce now lives in a precarious and stressful situation in captivity, which is aggravated in a stirring scene."
Castro says many battalions of the Army in the Amazon keeps ounces in captivity. He claims to have visited a center that held a feline in Cruzeiro do Sul (AC) under "very rough".
According to Castro, it is a mistake to treat ounces as domesticated animals. He says it takes several generations in captivity for a species get used to living with humans.
The biologist says that ideally ounces seized must be returned to nature or taken to shelters, where they might get loose in large spaces.
According to him, the release of cats is a complex process, but there are successful cases around the world ─ as the Tigers returned to forests in Asia.
Hours before the death of Juma, the BBC Brazil asked the Army information about the keeping of wild animals in organ dependencies in the Amazon. There was no response to the publication of this report.
A veterinarian from Manaus who has worked with the army and asked not to be identified defended the body of criticism. According to him, to care for rescued animals, the corporation assumes a function that should be other government agencies.
He says the military are very careful with the animals and the bureaucracy prevents many are returned to nature.
The vet also said that most of the rescued jaguars reach the body still young and become dependent on caregivers, making it difficult his release.
