CW announces official synopsis of season 4 of The 100

CW, which shows The 100 in the United States, today announced its new schedule for the remainder of 2016 and early 2017. As might be expected, The 100 will debut only in the Mid Season, in early 2017 ( Possibly in February).

Along with the news of the programming, the station also released the synopsis of the new seasons of its series, and obviously of The 100. Check below the official synopsis of season 4:

''For three seasons, the 100 have struggled to survive. This fight separated them, set them against each other, and took the lives of their closest friends. In season 3, our heroes found themselves at the epicenter of both: the grounders world and the fight for Arkadia's soul. Despite their best efforts, the whole war seemed inevitable until an even more dangerous new threat, which was quietly emerging, exploded to the surface: ALIE, the I.A. Who destroyed the world, offered relief to the pain and eternal life in the "City of Lights". But with the growth of her recruits, it quickly became clear that she was building an army dedicated to controlling all sentient life on Earth. This is no longer a battle between factions at war and has become a struggle for humanity itself. Now, following the epic final episode of season 3, a hard truth will fall on the shoulders of those who remained. What is left to fight? Will they quietly go into darkness, or will they find hope and faith in each other as they face their most obscure chapter so far?''

Season 4 of The 100 will air on 2017 on CW. In Brazil MTV hasn't yet pronounced itself on the show.
