Brazil vs Lithuania in the final of the International Challenge

Brazil and Lithuania decided on Sunday from 14:30 pm, with live broadcast, the SporTV2, the International Basketball Challenge, which is being held here in the friendly city of Mogi das Cruzes, São Paulo. The competition serves as preparation for the Rio, 2016.

Earlier, more precisely at 12:00 pm, they will be deciding third in the quadrangular selections from China and Australia. This game will also be broadcast live, by SporTV2.

In games played this Saturday at the gym Hugo Ramos, here in Mogi das Cruzes, Lithuania defeated Australia by 81-68 and Brazil just took no notice of China and won by 39 points difference (91-52). It is worth remembering that the four teams will be in the Olympic Games of the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro.

Lithuania and Brazil are part of the same group in the Olympic tournament in Rio de Janeiro and will face off on August 07 at 14:15 hours in the Arena Carioca 1 in Barra da Tijuca Olympic Park.

In the game this Sunday teams will surely seek to conceal strategies that could be decisive in the game of 07 August. According to the guard Marcelinho Huertas, Brazil captain, "The match will be a good test and we have to take advantage. It is important to show our best to have the surprise in Rio."

In the easy win over China, once again, the fans cheered with beautiful moves of the Brazilian team. Usually against weaker opponents there is a tendency to wane consequently lose a day in preparation. What we saw was just the opposite. A specific team, vibrant, aware that defense is critical to the success of the group in Rio, 2016. The attitude shown by the Brazilian team in these two matches here in Mogi das Cruzes, makes me very satisfied and confident that the Olympic podium becomes increasingly possible for male Brazilian basketball.

Let's jus enjoy the best moments of the match between Brazil and China for the inaugural round of the International Basketball Challenge.

Amanda won the UFC belt and dedicated to her girlfriend

Brazilian Amanda Nunes is the first champion of the UFC reportedly LGBT. And that is empowering.
The Bahian Amanda Nunes made history in contention for the title of UFC bantamweight. She became the first Brazilian to win a title in the most important MMA championship of the planet and the first athlete (including men) openly LGBT to win a belt. With only 3m15s struggle she applied a sequence of strokes and an overwhelming rear naked choke and took the title of American Miesha Tate. Shortly after winning the title, "Leone", nickname he earned in the sport, dedicated the title to his girlfriend, the fighter's STRAWWEIGHT Nina Ansaroff "She's everything to me. Help me every day... I'm going to cry. I love her. This is too much. The most important is that I am happy with my life. " In an interview before the beloved victory, Nina said that the love of the two is greater than the gender issue, is simply love. "We are proud of our relationship because we have a very strong bond, not because we are gay. As your partner, feel that reflect each other." she defined. But what does it matter? The reader who fell parachute this BLOG might ask: "Yeah, but you have to see the UFC title with the sexual orientation of fighting?". Maybe she did not fail to gain the title or for being lesbian or being heterosexual.
By social pressure, men and women are motivated to follow the parents careers that would be victorious. Parents one day too passsaram the same frustration. Maybe I'm not at this point with this text being read by someone who dreamed of being a dancer or a reader who dreamed of playing football and gave up because he heard that "This is not for you." "It's a guy thing." "It's something of a fag." By social pressure, athletes live a life in the closet. How many athletes do you know who are openly gay, lesbian or transgender? And you really believe that worldwide only these are the LGBT people in sport? Declare or not their sexuality is not required, it is a right of each that should be respected. Should. The fact is that athletes around the world are pressured by family, business, companies not to talk about it. The Australian Olympic medalist Ian Thorpe said in his biography that plunged into a deep depression can no longer hide his homosexuality. Empowered, Amanda won the UFC belt and dedicated to her girlfriend.

Marta detonates in a friendly and surpasses the mark of none other than Pelé with the national team shirt

Marta shone again with the national team shirt late on Wednesday (9). The striker scored no less than five of the 11 goals the team in the massacre of Trinidad and Tobago at the Arena das Dunas in Natal, in the friendly International Football Tournament.

With great performance, she overcame none other than Pelé. Marta reached 98 goals with the shirt of the national team, against 95 of the King of Football.

"I'm happy for the goals, for the record," said the striker, to TV Bandeirantes.

"We know the opponent's weakness, but the way we won, we show respect for our opponents and the first game is important, goal difference as well. So we try to make the greatest number of points."

With the hard-hitting score 11-0, Brazil opened a wide margin in a friendly quadrangular. The goal difference can be decisive to define the champion of the tournament, which still has Mexico and Canada.

On the same Wednesday, the Mexicans beat the Canadians by 3 to 0. The winners will face Brazil on Sunday at 17 pm, again at the Arena das Dunas.

Wednesday, the Brazilian team took the field with Barbara; Poliana, Monica, Rafaelle and Tamires; Thaisa, Andressinha and Marta; Beatriz Zaneratto, Gabi Zanotti and Debinha.

Technical Vadão took the game to new tests on staff and over friendly, gave chances Leticia Izidoro, Rilany, Juliet, Maurine, Rachel and Thais. For this tournament, the coach can not count on Erika and Cristiane, who have not been released by Paris Saint-Germain.

Even without the duo, the selection had no difficulty to overcome the fragile team of Trinidad and Tobago. Besides Marta, shone Beatriz Zaneratto responsible for three goals. Also shook the networks Debinha, Rachel and Rilany.

"We played seeking goal ever, because this is our style on the pitch. But we also know that to score balance is very important and can decide first place in the quadrangular and the advantage in the final," said Beatriz.

Woman in power!
